The software has been created as common program for security cross platforms running at the same time with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal form and functionality on the local and apart workstations. Customers view MPEG coded picture and have full control of the software using net that security workstation can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular structure considerably improves reliability because all components work as autonomous applications. If one unit stops working, other parts keep on working. For instance if the `record` part fails, `watchdog` starts over it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing video via a `playback` module. The program does `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by motion, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on remote pc through Web interface. The software makes simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
