The software has been designed as universal program for surveillance hybrid platforms working simultaneously with wireless and wired IP webcams, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the similar look and controls on the local and remote computers. Customers view MPEG coded picture and have full management of the program through net that surveillance computer can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular configuration significantly boosts reliability because all parts operate as independent software. If one unit fails, other units continue running. For instance if the `capture` unit fails, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` component. The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by activity, human face recognition, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on apart pc using Web interface. The software does simultaneous video playback for event examination from many cameras at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
