Great Surveillance Assistant 4.0  

The program has been created as general application for security cross platforms functioning simultaneously with wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the equal appearance and controls on the local and remote workstations. Users view MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete management of the software through net that surveillance computer can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure drastically improves reliability because all components work as independent programs. If one part fails, other components go on running. For example if the `capture` component freezes, `watchdog` restarts it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture through a `playback` module. The software makes `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by movement, human face detection, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on distant server through Web interface. The software does simultaneous video playback for event examination from many cameras simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
