The unique and substantial ComSmart application can work with any TAPI-compliant device - ranging from basic voice modems, through to internal ISA/PCI telephony cards, through to the new generation of external plug n play devices. ComSmart's telephony device analyzer and sound device features tree tell you which call and audio functions are supported by the device of your choice, giving you a good idea which of the attended and unattended features of ComSmart will be available with the device. ComSmart comes with many pre-recorded rings, greetings, announcements and prompts, but you can of course create your own. The power of ComSmart is such that even without a telephony device, it is still an indispensable application in its own right, giving you a range of capabilities for which you would normally have to purchase separate applications, and at a price equivalent to just one of these applications - capabilities including a fully-featured PIM, clever calendar and event scheduler, media player and audio recorder, remote video monitoring system and IP address announcer.
