Blue Tango - The Text Scrambler 4.1
|
|
Blue Tango is the fun and practical way to make your messages discrete. It keeps text, rich text and even portions of messages confidential. And that's important.
Blue Tango encrypts plain text (like data in .txt files – which have no formatting) and rich text (like data in .doc, .rtf, or HTML files – which have formatting such as fonts and colors). You create the text and then scramble all or portions of it using a password of your choosing. Recipients can unscramble the encoded portions as long as they know your password.
It is intended to be an easy-to-use, low-cost, secure alternative to hard-to-use, high-cost, more secure encryption methods.
Blue Tango is easy-to-use because you can choose to scramble documents, emails, or chat session messages -- or only sensitive sections of them -- immediately (right in front of you). And you do not have to go through paid secure sites or have keys passed to the recipients. All you do is send them the resulting scrambled text and tell them the password and they can unscramble it if they also have the product.
It is low-cost because only the stuff you need to scramble is encoded and the result is plain text that can be sent by any simple transmission method. No expensive secure sites or other encoding/decoding products are involved.
Blue Tango is secure because the scrambling algorithm is very complicated and will require extreme effort even to make an attempt to break a small portion of it
.
It is very useful for sending messages to other people where the text contains sensitive materials or time-sensitive information that you prefer to protect from strangers.
Blue Tango is useful for storing work-in-progress on your computer at the office so that others do not see your unfinished work.
It can also be used to make chat sessions messages secure.
